MBA - Entrepreneurship  is designed to explore the many dimensions of entrepreneurship and new venture management in both corporate and independent settings. Students will acquire the knowledge and spirit for entrepreneurship and familiarize themselves with institutional aspects of venturing. Attention will be given to augmenting and synthesizing concepts and techniques studied in the functional areas of management. Knowledge will be developed that is useful for managing new ventures as well as launching innovative initiatives in mature companies.

MBA - Information Technology and Management

As a UBC MBA IT graduate you can assess the information technology needs of a business, then plan, implement, and manage IT solutions. The program's wide range of modules develop students' skills in business needs analysis, business applications development, database design and administration, business modelling, project management, e-Business, and data communications.

MBA - Marketing

In the Marketing specialization, you will first build a strong base of knowledge in the foundation areas of marketing strategy, consumer behavior, and market research. You will develop your skills further in such areas as brand management, pricing, integrated communication, and new product development as well as building depth in such areas as international marketing and services management.

MBA -Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources

The MBA -Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources is to prepare students with skills to manage human resources and organizations. The skills developed are applicable to general management or the management of any functional area of business in virtually any organization. Three types of students may be interested in this specialization.

MBA -Strategic Management Specialzation equips students with the concepts and processes required for crafting and implementing strategies that lead to the superior performance of a business.

MBA -Supply Chain Management

In the MBA -Supply Chain Management, students will develop the ability to plan, implement, and control value-added supply chain processes, including logistics, production, purchasing, distribution, and customer service. Students will also have the opportunity to choose electives according to your area of interest - for example, logistics, operations management, information technology, human resources management, strategic management, and transportation.

MBA -Sustainability and Business

The Sustainability and Business specialization is designed to help future business leaders meet this scrutiny as well as to meet the growing demand for business leadership in non-profit and non-governmental organizations. The program offers UBC MBA students a business education in the realms of sustainable development, and corporate social responsibility.

MBA Part-time

The 28-month UBC MBA Part-time Program curriculum is comprised of five key components; the award-winning Integrated Core, Module Studies, the Career Development Program,  an Industry Project, and the Capstone Course for a total of 52.5 credits. Students can also elect to enroll in all or part of the Pre-Core Program, a preparatory program that prepares incoming students for the demanding nature of the Integrated Core experience.

International MBA

At the beginning of the International MBA program, students take part in the Integrated Core - a unique experience providing a strong foundation in accounting, finance, information technology, operation logistics, marketing, and human resources management and strategy. Team-taught as one comprehensive course by Sauder School of Business faculty representing different core disciplines, it fosters the broad management perspective and cross-functional skills necessary to tackle complex business challenges.

Executive MBA in Health Care

In the EMBA in Health Care you will receive a practical and applied foundation in business fundamentals and the necessary tools to be a better decision maker in the field.
